The second round of “Kabul Process” will be held on Wednesday 28 February at the state department’s headquarter in Kabul. Peace efforts led by the Afghan government and fighting against global terrorism said to be the main issues in the summit.

The second round of Kabul Process is being held while more than 400 people were killed and wounded in Taliban’s attacks on former interior ministry building and Intercontinental hotel.

Meanwhile, the chairman of HPC Karim Khalili described recent Taliban’s attacks to destroy “peace process.” although country’s political experts do not believe in the work of HPC, stressing that HPC suffers a clear policy against Taliban.

The national security adviser Hanif Atmar has said that more than 55,000 terrorists operate in Afghanistan.
Although the residents of capital Kabul hope for a stable peace in the country, these meetings are suspicious and do not believe in its positive results.

“So many sessions, why they do not destroy Taliban and Daesh. Why they do not suppress them in the battlefields. Sessions are useless and they must be destroyed,” said Roqaya, a resident in Kabul.
