Three, Including Journalist Killed in Nangarhar

Three people, including a journalist, were killed in eastern Nangarhar province as a result of gunshots by unknown gunmen, according to reports.


The incident took place on Saturday night in Jalalabad city, the capital of Nangarhar province.

AJSC (Afghanistan journalist safety committee) condemned the murder of Sayed Maruf Sadat, a journalist, in Nangarhar province, saying that two Taliban members were also killed during the incident.
Maruf’s son and a civilian were injured, too.
AJSC called on the Taliban to seriously investigate the incident.

No group or individual claimed responsibility.
It is worth mentioning that the IS-K terrorist group has recently increased its activities in Nangarhar. The group has targeted Taliban members in the province.
