Zalmai Rasoul Backs Up “National Consensus Government” Plan/ if election Not held, this is Best Option

Mr. Rasoul, who visited the office of National Consensus and Change on Thursday 22 February, discussed the issues of country’s current turbulent status, the upcoming election, and the initiative of establishing National Consensus Government with the leadership members of National Consensus and Change.

According to (DID) press agency, the members of the “National Consensus and Change” and Mr. Zalmai Rasoul emphasized on holding a transparent election, establishing National Consensus Government, the country’s political situation, and further cooperation.

“If the next presidential election did not hold under any reason, establishing the “National Consensus Government” would be the only suitable option for the stability of the country, in order to survive a crisis,” Mr. Rasoul added.

“National Consensus and Change” political movement that has recently suggested the initiative of “National Consensus Government” in six chapters to the International Community, political parties, and the people of Afghanistan, in order to overcome the current crisis, reflected widely on media outlets.
