13 Killed, 55 wounded in Terrorist Attack on Baghlan Police HQ

Afghan Interior Ministry confirmed in a statement that at least 13 police forces were killed in the attack and 55 others, including 20 civilians were wounded.

According to the statement, 8 terrorists were killed in the attack as well.
On Sunday noon, armed gunmen stormed Baghlan police headquarter after they blew up a Humvee full of explosives, opening the way for other attackers.
Taliban claimed responsibility, claiming that dozens police forces were killed during the attack.

“President Ashraf Ghani condemns in the strongest terms the attack on Baghlan police HQ, calling it a terror act,” Arg said in a statement.
