DID Press: Afghanistan’s national bodybuilding and fitness team has departed for Bhutan to compete in the South Asian Bodybuilding Championships, with a delegation comprising 15 athletes and three technical staff members.
According to the Afghanistan Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation, the national squad left Kabul on Sunday morning for Thimphu, where the regional competition is set to begin on June 30.
Athletes from nearly 10 South Asian countries are expected to participate in the tournament, making it one of the region’s major bodybuilding and fitness events.
Afghanistan’s representatives aim to deliver a strong performance and further strengthen the country’s standing in regional bodybuilding competitions.
