Türkiye Warns Former Afghan Officials Against Travelling to Pakistan
DID Press: Turkish authorities have reportedly warned some former Afghan military officers and political figures living in Türkiye against travelling to Pakistan to join an armed campaign against the Taliban, saying they should take their families with them if they intend to travel for such a purpose.

Meanwhile, reports have emerged of a meeting in Türkiye between a Pakistani intelligence official and former Afghan political figures Abdul Rashid Dostum and Mohammad Mohaqiq to discuss their possible travel to Pakistan. According to these reports, Türkiye prevented the two figures from travelling to Pakistan.
The reports come as Pakistan has previously sought to establish contacts with several political and military leaders opposed to the Taliban.
