88 Civilians Killed by Taliban in Past 2 weeks: MoI


Afghan Ministry of Interior Affairs says that as a result of Taliban’s activities in the past two weeks, 88 civilians were killed by Taliban group and 133 others were wounded.

Tariq Arian, a spokesman for the Ministry of Interior Affairs (MoI), said in a statement that Taliban killed 88 civilians and wounded 133 more during the past two weeks.

“88 civilians were martyred and 133 others were wounded as a result of the Taliban’s activities during the past two weeks. Taliban in their activities and crimes in 27 provinces of the country, have inflicted more casualties in Kandahar and Ghazni,” said the spokesman. Stressing that “targeting civilians is against religious and military norms”.

This comes as at least 12 people have reportedly just lost their lives in today’s Taliban attacks in various part of the country.
