Putin in Tajikistan for Russia–Central Asia and CIS Summit
DID Press: Russian President Vladimir Putin traveled to Tajikistan to participate in the second Russia–Central Asia summit as well as the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) leaders’ meeting.

Kremlin press office announced that during the visit, Putin will meet with Tajik President Imam Ali Rahman to discuss expanding strategic partnerships and allied relations across various sectors.
Strengthening cooperation between Russia and regional countries in multiple fields, as well as reviewing current international and regional issues, are key agenda items for the two-day summit.
