DID Press: Afghanistan national futsal team, in its first match of the Islamic Solidarity Games held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, delivered an impressive performance and defeated Tajikistan 9–5, marking a powerful start to the tournament.

From the very beginning, Afghanistan’s players took control of the game with accurate shots, coordinated attacks, and disciplined play, securing a decisive lead in the first half. Tajikistan attempted to get back into the match with fast counter-attacks, but Afghanistan’s solid defense and brilliant goalkeeping prevented them from closing the gap.
In the first round of the Islamic Solidarity Games, Afghanistan is placed in a group alongside Iran, Tajikistan, and Morocco. This important victory strengthens Afghanistan’s position and increases their chances of advancing to the later stages of the competition.
The next match of Afghanistan national futsal team will take place on November 5 at 3:00 PM Kabul time against the national futsal team of Iran.
