DID News: Sergey Lavrov, Russia’s foreign minister, stated that United States and Israel are attempting to position Gulf Arab countries against Iran.
Referring to global developments, Lavrov said the world is undergoing a fundamental transformation in the structure of international order, noting that some countries have recently overstepped their boundaries, acting as if they have the right to operate freely on the territories of others.
He further warned that there are signs the crisis in the Gulf region is escalating and could develop into a larger-scale conflict.
Lavrov emphasized that Russia is ready to play a mediating role through diplomatic means and is prepared to provide the necessary cooperation to help resolve the Gulf crisis.
