UN: Over 94000 Afghans Displaced by Pakistan Border Attacks
DID Press: UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs reported that more than 94,000 people have been displaced in eastern and southeastern Afghanistan following border clashes with Pakistan.

According to the latest report, airstrikes, shelling, and cross-border fighting have forced over 94,000 individuals from their homes across several provinces. The displaced population includes approximately 13,400 families, with the highest numbers recorded in the provinces of Khost, Kunar, Nangarhar, Paktia, and Paktika.
Specifically, Khost hosts more than 26,000 displaced people, while Kunar has recorded over 25,000, making them the hardest-hit areas.
OCHA also stated that as a result of the attacks, at least 25 health centers and 41 schools in multiple provinces—including Kabul—have been damaged or forced to suspend operations. This disruption has significantly affected access to essential services such as healthcare, nutrition, and education for affected communities.
