IHRF Urges Probe Into Civilian Casualties After Pakistan Strikes in Kunar
DID Press: International Human Rights Foundation has called for an immediate and independent investigation into reported civilian casualties following recent Pakistani strikes in Asadabad.

According to the organization, the attacks allegedly targeted residential areas and the Sayed Jamaluddin Afghani University, resulting in dozens of deaths and injuries. Among the reported victims were women, children, and university students.
Eyewitnesses stated that the strikes directly hit civilian homes and an active educational facility during class hours, intensifying concerns about the protection of non-combatants.
The foundation emphasized that under international humanitarian law, attacks against civilians and educational institutions are strictly prohibited, and all parties involved in armed conflict are required to distinguish between military and civilian targets.
The statement further noted that evidence related to the incident is being documented and preserved for submission in future reports to the United Nations Human Rights Council.
