Meanwhile, local sources say that 15 national army security forces killed as Taliban stormed security checkpoints in Bala Boluk district.

On the other hand, confirming the Taliban’s attack on Bala Boluk district, a spokesman for Farah’s governor M. Naser Mehri said that 11 security forces were killed and 4 others wounded in the attack.
“9 Taliban fighters killed and 13 more wounded during clashes with the security forces, rejecting the collapse of security checkpoints,” Mehri added.

Taliban fighters have active presence in Farah’s Bala Boluk district.
