“The decision for Afghanistan to be able to get Shanghai permanent membership is not easy for the government,” Mr. Tamanna said.

Meanwhile, Sayed Masoud, a university professor and economic expert who attended the summit rejected Mr. Tamanna’s theory, said: “Afghanistan should not get Shanghai membership from the point of security view signed with NATO, but economically achieving the membership, is in the interest of Afghanistan and a new era for the development and self-sufficiency of the country.”
Referring to the division of the country into 6 economic spheres, he described the 9 economic spheres as spasm, and added: “If the Afghan government wants to achieve Shanghai’s permanent membership, it should create a single area by establishing a credible economic research center across the country and restrict the role of Shanghai organization in just one of the economic sphere.”

Khan Jan Alkozai also, the deputy to country’s chambers of commerce and industry said security problems, the lack of infrastructures and transit problems caused hampered the progress of trade and economy.
