Afghan NSA Hamdullah Mohib, in relation to the US-Taliban peace deal, stresses that Kabul does not agree with some points of the agreement.
In response to the US-Taliban agreement expected to be signed hours later in Doha, NSA Hamdullah Mohib says that Kabul does not agree with some points of the agreement.
“There are points in US-Taliban peace agreement that we do not agree with; one is the term “Islamic Emirate” which should be Taliban movement,” said Mohib on Saturday afternoon in Kabul.
He also confirmed that a delegation on behalf of the Afghan government has been sent to Qatar for initial contacts between the government and the Taliban group.
This comes as the Taliban said that intra-Afghan dialogue will be started after the release of 5,000 prisoners.
