“Political tensions between Balkh and ARG palace do not affect Balkh security,” the provincial command police said in its third press conference during past one month.
“In the past two years, not only the crimes decreased but also organized crimes have stepped down in the province,” Abdul Razzaq Qaderi, the provincial police chief said.
Balkh police spokesman Sherjan Durani said, phone robbers and those who threaten citizens with cold weapons have become a concern for the people, and it seems that insecurity increased in the province.
According to Balkh police, the security situation in Balkh is desirable and there is nothing to be worried about.
Meanwhile, Balkh police complain about the inadequate police forces in this large city of Afghanistan, saying if police forces increase in the province, these crimes will also be eliminated.
