Training Process of Biometric Devices to Kick off in Provinces: IEC

“the utilization of biometric devices is easy and the training process to provincial staff will start tomorrow,” Sayed Hafizullah Hashimi said. “about 13200 biometric devices which are over half of all devices, have been handed over to IEC and we hope all the necessary equipment will be available to the commission within two days,” he added.
The spokesman described the transfer of biometric devices to far areas as a challenge, but insisted that security agencies are required to provide the facilities.
“biometric equipment will be transferred to 74 districts via helicopters due to various problems,” he continued.
On Tuesday, the IEC chief Gulajan Abdul Bade Sayyad said that during the data entry process, 8.8 million voters are accurate and more than 600,000 were declared invalid.
17 days have been left for the parliamentary election.
On the other hand, the IEC called on the candidates of the parliamentary election to share their campaign programs with the security forces to provide their security.
