Women’s Key Role in 8th round of Ski Competition in Bamiyan

More than 100 athletes from different provinces many of whom girls, participated in winter ski completion in central Bamiyan province.
The competitions held in Bamiyan province were launched by different institutions.
According to reports, around 50 male athletes had taken part in the competition.
In ski competitions, “Fatima Nazari, Fariba Ahmadi and Zakia Mohammady” won the first to third positions.
The tournament was also held among the boys, with Mojtaba from Bamiyan, Parquin from England and Mahdi Hossaini from Bamiyan, ranked first to third.
The tournament held in two days in Band-e Amir national park and Qarghanato. The aim of holding such completion is to promote winter games, introducing Bamiyan’s tourist attraction, supporting security and peace throughout the country.
