Afghan Shia Community’s Resilience Stands as Bulwark Against Agitators
DIDPress: A media channel aligned with Afghanistan’s caretaker government has praised the role of the country’s Shia community, describing them as the most vigilant segment against “the sinister plots of enemies.”

A Telegram channel affiliated with the caretaker administration recently highlighted the stance of Afghanistan’s Shia population, claiming they were among the first groups to support the government by accepting Islamic Sharia law.
“Since the establishment of the caretaker government, Afghanistan’s Shia community has demonstrated their commitment to religious values and national unity, while resisting rebel groups, the seditious ISIS, and foreign-backed elements,” reads the report.
The outlet portrayed the Shia community as alert, faithful to peace and stability, and emphasized their critical role in maintaining security and preventing division.
According to the report, attempts to create rifts between Shias and the government have failed, as the community continues to uphold “unity, solidarity, and harmony” with other ethnic groups.
In closing, the pro-government media reiterated the slogan “All ethnic groups, one voice for unity,” framing it as a shared goal between the people and the caretaker government while calling for universal adherence to this path.
