Iran Deploys Unidentified Jet-Powered Drone in Latest Strike on Israel
DID Press: Reports from northern Israel indicate that Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps employed an unidentified jet-powered drone alongside cluster-warhead versions of the Kheibar Shekan ballistic missile in its latest wave of missile and drone attacks.

According to field reports following Sunday night’s operation, the IRGC launched what military observers described as a previously unseen unmanned aerial vehicle equipped with a jet engine. Analysts noted that the drone had not been publicly identified before and that no official technical specifications have yet been released.
At the same time, military experts reported the use of Kheibar Shekan missiles fitted with cluster munitions. The missile, known for its long-range strike capability and ability to challenge advanced air-defense systems, has become one of Iran’s most significant strategic weapons in recent years.
Analysts say the combined use of ballistic missiles and drones reflects an evolving operational doctrine pursued by Iran in response to recent regional developments. They add that ongoing assessments of impact sites and recovered debris may provide further insight into the characteristics, capabilities, and technological sophistication of the newly observed jet-powered drone.
