South Korea Provides $3 Million to WFP for Food Aid in Afghanistan
DID Press: United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) said South Korea’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs has provided $3 million to support vulnerable women and children in Afghanistan.

According to the WFP, the funding will be used over the next 12 months to provide food and nutritional assistance to 24,500 vulnerable women and children across different parts of Afghanistan.
The agency said the contribution is part of broader international efforts to address Afghanistan’s worsening food-security crisis and provide assistance to families in need.
