At least three soldiers have been killed and over 10 others wounded after an explosive-laden truck targeted the district building of Shahwalikot district in Kandahar province early Wednesday morning, according to reports.

The attack took place at 3 am (local time), says Fazal Mohammad Gharibshah, the district governor of Shahwalikot.

According to him, one soldiers was killed and 3 more were wounded in the attack.
Security forces clashed with the attackers for about an hour after the incident, he added.
No one claimed responsibility for the attack.
