The head of Afghanistan IEC says Saturday that the election process is going on with transparency and there is no problem as voters are heading to polls to cast their votes.
“Based on reports handed to us, 4041 polling centers are operational and 481 polling stations are closed,” said Hawa Alam Nuristani, the head of the IEC.
“We are at a historic stage, although there are difficulties in the electoral process, the process is proceeding with transparency,” she added.

Ms Nuristani underlined that people should go the polling centers, suggesting that “do not listen to rumors because your vote is destiny making, so use it.”
“So far, both men and women appeared in large numbers at the polling centers to vote for their favorite candidates,” she added.
