On Wednesday morning, gunmen attacked an education department, killing 10 people and wounding 10 others.
According to provincial governor’s spokesman Ataullah Khugyani, clashes between the security forces and the gunmen ended after several hours.
This comes as the province has witnessed three suicide attacks in the past week.
The suicide attack on Tuesday claimed the lives of 12 people, two security forces and 10 civilians.
