President Ghani Lands in Khost

President Ashraf Ghani arrived in central Khost province on Saturday morning, leading a high-level government delegation.

President Ghani will inaugurate Khost International Airport and assess the province’s overall security situation.

During the trip, the President will meet security officials and diverse strata of Khost people.
The trip comes as northern provinces are extremely insecure and dozens of districts were collapsed by the Taliban in less than a month.
