President Ghani Leaves for Tajikistan
Heading a high-level delegation, President Ashraf Ghani left Kabul for Dushanbe to attend the ninth ministerial conference of the Heart of Asia- Istanbul process.
The Presidential palace (Arg) said in a statement on Monday morning is on a two-day visit from Tajikistan.
“During the visit, President Ghani will address the Heart of Asia – Istanbul process where he will meet Tajik President Emomali Rahmon, the Prime Minister, and the parliament speaker,” said the statement.
According to the statement, during the meetings, the expansion of relations and cooperation between the two countries in various fields will be discussed.
President Ghani will deliver remarks at National Tajikistan University where he will be awarded an honorary P.H.D degree.
