A suicide attack took place Monday morning near a compound of the national defence security’s special unit in Ghazni province.

The Ministry of Interior spokesman Tariq Arian confirmed the attack, saying it was a car bomb attack.
“Further details will be shared later with the media outlets,” he added.

According to local officials, at least 8 people were killed and over 30 others were wounded in the attack.

Taliban in statement claimed responsibility for the attack.
