US, NATO to Leave Afghanistan together: Khalilzad

US state department’s special representative on Afghan peace process Zalmay Khalilzad has recently said that if US leave Afghanistan, it will leave together with NATO and all other partners and allies.


US state department’s special representative on Afghan peace process Zalmay Khalilzad has recently said that if US leave Afghanistan, it will leave together with NATO and all other partners and allies.

Mr Khalilzad said that We will coordinate adjustments in our presence together.
“Working closely with NATO and other partners and allies has been a priority from day one,” Khalilzad Twitted, adding that “we came together, and if we leave, we will leave together”.
“Together for peace and security for Afghanistan and for us all,”

The remarks come as NATO Secretary General had previously stressed during a general assembly of the organization that NATO presence in Afghanistan is needed for Europe’s security.
