President M. Ashraf Ghani will continue his term until a new president will be elected.

Based on some leaked reports, Afghanistan supreme court has decided to extend president Ghani’s tenure until holding the presidential elections.
According to the country’s constitution, president Ghani’s term will end on 22 May 2019.

Some political parties and influential faces have repeatedly called for the end of president Ghani’s term after the Jawza first (22May).
