According to report, US Vice President Mike Pence, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, and Chancellor Angela Merkel will be among the 100 ministers from across the world expected to discuss growing global instability.
President Ghani is expected to meet foreign officials, including Pakistani FM Qureshi on the sideline of the conference.

Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi also left for Germany on Thursday to represent Pakistan at the Munich Security Conference 2019, Radio Pakistan reported.

Speaking to reporters prior to his departure, the foreign minister said he will also hold meetings with President Ashraf Ghani and his counterparts from countries including Russia, Germany, Uzbekistan and Canada.
“Pakistan has always supported efforts for peace and stability in Afghanistan. We remain committed to working with all stakeholders to achieve our common objective,” said Qureshi.
Qureshi is also expected to meet key US congressmen and members of the US Senate.
