The election commissions released the declaration after having a joint declaration with the second Vice President M. Sarwar Danish.
“the decision taken by electoral complaints commission has created a deadlock in Kabul election process, which will be revised,” the second VP’s press office said in a statement.
“the IEC will deliver the biometric votes and documents that distinguish the clean votes to the ECC as soon as possible, and the ECC will reconsider its recent decision regarding vote invalidation,”
Alireza Rohani, a spokesman for the ECC, meanwhile, said that the IEC did not deliver them the ballot papers despite repeated requests. Now, they will judge on the correct and incorrect votes, having the documents.
“the IEC pledged to provide the documents in order to prevent a crisis, and the ECC will revise its decision,” he added.
